Android: Gingerbread Loses Ground

In the past, it has been the old versions of Android, which was in the most active units, but now takes Android 4.0 + from.

Last month, when the statement from Android Developers were ready, it was clear that Android 4.0 + versions were in the process of catching up with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, as through a very long time has been the most widely used Android version – measured in Active Android devices.

But this month it looks somewhat different, now see it for real that is about to happen a little with Android 4.0 + versions. The number of active devices with Gingerbread installed is now down to 39.8 percent, while the total number of phones with Android 4.0 + now is on the whole 54.3 percent. Ice Cream Sandwich have 29.3 per cent, while the Jelly Bean 4.1 and 4.2 are respectively 23.0 and 2.0 percent of the devices. You can read more about the statement on our site.

The latest statement is made in a 14 day period with the last day of the 2. April – there are versions that have less than 0.1 percent of the visits so they do not appear.
