The ASUS ZenWatch 2 focuses on customization with over 18 possible combinations of materials and colors
Although we did not expect so soon, ASUS has decided to present some hours ago ZenWatch 2, the second generation of its smart watch. The company based in Taiwan wants to strengthen its presence in the market smartwatch and presents this second generation with a more refined design and, above all, a wide range of models to choose from that we had not seen so far in any device Android Wear.
Regarding the design of this new ASUS ZenWatch 2 general lines remain faithful to that shown in the previous generation, although we did find a slightly more pronounced curves and a significant reduction in metal market front. Moreover, sinning ASUS ZenWatch 2 follows the same design error as its predecessor, frameworks exaggeratedly large.
Although that’s not all, because this new model incorporates a distinctive element, it is a small button-shaped crown on his right side . Initially it was believed that this button could be rotated
in the style Digital Crown of Apple Watch, but finally has ended up being a conventional physical button that serves to turn on and off the screen.
But let ‘s focus on the most important aspect of this ASUS ZenWatch 2: customization. First the watch is available in 2 different sizes: 49mm (22mm strap) or 45mm (18mm strap). To this we must add a box available in silver, pink gold or bronze, and a range of very broad belts between which we can choose different materials such as stainless steel, silicone or leather available in different colors. In total, we have 18 possible combinations for ASUS ZenWatch 2.

On the software side we have some interesting news as an application to create and customize our own watchfaces, and of course has Android Wear 5.1.
