Samsung Galaxy A7 Launched: World’s Thinnest Large Mobile

Samsung announces today a big brother to the A-series metal mobiles. The octa-core combines forces with ultra slim design.

Samsung’s new series of A-mobiles get a new front-runner: Galaxy A7. Great phone boasts the same delicious metallic finish as Samsung introduced with Samsung Galaxy Alpha, as well as Galaxy A3 and A5-phones.

A7 is, however, equipped to rage in addition to its smaller siblings. The screen is on 5.5 inch HD resolution, but with goals on 151 x 76.2 and a record profile on 6.3 mm A7 fills less than most phablets. The weight lands at 141 grams, a record for a phablet with unibody construction in metal.

Horsepower supplied by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor of 1.8 + 1.3 GHz and 2 GB RAM to drive Android 4.4 KitKat forward, with an update to the Android 5.0 in the pipeline. 2600 mAh battery has to give.

On the camera front is A7 ekviperet with a 13 megapixel camera on the back, and a 5 megapixel front camera. Photos, video and apps can be stored on the 16 GB built-in storage or expanded via micro-SD cards.

Galaxy A7 will debut first quarter 2015. The price is not yet published, Samsung promises here that the price will be competitive. Samsung Galaxy A7 comes in colors of Navy Blue, white or gold.
