Twitter has just launched music service Twitter #Music, but it does not work in Denmark – here you have to wait a little longer.
We wrote last week that Twitter hadve an music service on the road, and is now therefore a reality – the name is Twitter #Music. And music service shows you what music that is popular on Twitter, as well as what your friends hear.
With Twitter #Music you get singled out music that is relevant to you, it’s done on the basis of which artists you follow on Twitter. It is also possible to get an overview of what music your contacts are listening to on the social network.
There will be played, as a starting point, a short preview of a track through iTunes, and connect your Spotify-or Rdio account, then the whole number is streamed. Twitter #Music is thus not a competitor to the existing services, but an “extended arm”, which will take recommendations for music you should listen to.
Twitter #Music is available on the Web and as iOS application – however, the service is only available in the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. However, an android version also on stairs, as well as several countries. However, it is yet unknown if Denmark is included in the list.
