Skype competitor Viber is ready with a new application for Windows Phone-with both text and VoIP support.
Back at the end of the month of March, we wrote that the Skype competitor Viber was on its way with a new application for Windows Phone. The old version supported only the new messages, but also supports VoIP.
And now, at long last, the application is ready for download. Viber has more than 175 million users worldwide, which takes advantage of to make calls, send text messages and pictures.
Viber integrates with your mobile and gives you a great VoIP experience. It synchronizes with your contact list and your phone number is your user ID, so you do not need a username or password.
The application works both for Windows Phone 7. X and Windows Phone 8. You can download the application for free in Windows Phone Large.
