Music service WiMP has today launched a new and improved version of the app for iPhone and iPad users. Among the news is an artist-based radio, genre and track licenses as well as pages for albums and playlists.
With the new features would WiMP that users must listen to more of the music they already like – by selecting “Track Radio” gets the more songs, reminiscent of the who already listen to. The same is true with “Artist Radio”, which features songs with similar artists.
-“We believe that these new features will help our users to discover even more music and a few tips in addition to our editorial recommendations,” says spokesman Thor Martin Jensen WiMPs in a press release.
Since the WiMP did genre view also available for Android users, there have been many positive reactions.
-“The feedback we have received, after we launched this feature for Android, has been entirely positive, and I think genre pages for iOS will be just as popular. It makes it easy to flip through and discovering new music. As the first genre list will all countries highlight their own local music, so you will find Danish music in Denmark, Norwegian in Norway, Swedish in Sweden, German in Germany and Polish in Poland, “says Thor Martin Jensen.
