The rumors about a cheap iPhone will not die.
There have often been rumors about a low-cost version of the popular iPhone, and although Apple itself has tried to conjure up these in the ground, it’s as if they don’t want to die.
Most recently the Wall Street Journal reports that Apple, according to sources they have been in contact with, is working on an iPhone for a lower price segment.
There is talk of a launch in the second half of 2013.
Several analysts have previously pointed out how important it is for Apple, to have products which can satisfy other than highend-buyers, also in order to be successful in parts of the world, where buyers do not have as much money for smartphones.
Wall Steet Journal is also unable to tell that Apple is expected to present to the next “General iPhone” during the summer.
