For the first time in 3 years, there is growth to track in one of the keys to measure the economy with the penetrated HTC
It is almost historic, even though it is only 3 years ago, but for the first time since the third quarter of 2011 HTC measured a growth when compared with the same quarter the year before. It suggests a brighter future for the Taiwanese company.
HTC could note a sale of 9.4 billion Danish kroner in the fourth quarter of 2014, and it beats the 8.4 billion, which was sold for in the fourth quarter of 2013.
It has given HTC a profit of 92 million Danish kroner in the quarter–well above what many had predicted.
The reason HTC’s success is believed to be in the medium segment, where HTC has launched a series of Desire-products. Especially in China, these are popular, since they can take a stand against the local favorite Xiaomi and the somewhat more expensive iPhone, there also are popular.
Rains in the entire annual segments, so it still went down for HTC. The positive numbers from last quarter, however, is to give the company a somewhat brighter picture of the future.
