History of Track and Field

History of track and field

Along with the sport of swimming, track and field is the oldest sport in the world. Around 1500 BC were all sporting competitions held in Crete. From 776 f.Kr. were the Olympic Games organized by the Greeks.A sporting event which takes place every four years in honor of Zeus. Athletics really be heard on games and it is still very close together. Rules for Athletics was much easier than today.

Athletics General

Run
