NYFW: Calvin Klein Collection

Calvin Klein Collection FW 2016-2017 brought on the catwalk image of a sensual woman, domineering and provocative.

Francisco Costa, fashion designer of the fashion house of fashion, has created a bold and inspiring collection Seventies, bringing on the catwalk image of an erotic and provocative woman, for a sensual journey into the feminine.

Refined details, texture valuable, processed materials, minimal and essential design, deconstructed proportions: these are the elements that have characterized the runway show CK Collection FW 2016-2017, showing a real continuity with last season’s collection.

A capsule collection very feminine but with a touch of mannish style 70’s style given by the tailored jackets worn with soft palazzo pants, coats with lapels, trench coat double breasted with large round buttons, and even coat in sailor-style flared on the bottom and oversize .

During the show on the catwalk parading the transgressive woman, sensual and dominatrix: satin sheath dresses reminiscent undergarments, dresses with details in leather and fur straps, bursting fur collars, faux strictly on jackets and trenchcoat, precious stones decorations on long dress sleeveless, leggings latex and still top with dizzying necklines worn with soft tone on tone trousers with belt, S & M-inspired, let slip along the entire length of the leg.

A collection in which predominates the undisputed one color: black that only briefly, gives way to the marsala, to light brown and white slimming leggings mixed with light blue that characterizes the reason the Prince of Wales that we find on the tailored jackets and skirts with deep side slits.

Even with regard to Francisco Costa shoes inspired by the ’70s: polished boots with square toe, delicate and elegant mary-jane pointy ankle strap and even moccasins bon-ton blacks shiny leather.

Finally, for accessories women Calvin Klein choose to be essential and minimal, sporting clutch with chain to be worn both day and evening.
